Moving & Grooving!

Dear Henry,

Well, the blog has basically been retired for the last few months. So many developments I don't think I can catch up all at once - but I've got some great videos to share so I was inspired to get back to writing :-) The funny coincidence about the timing - is I'm on maternity leave (again) - funny how I now have a few minutes to get this photos uploaded! So, yes - we are expecting your baby brother any day now. Dad & I had a theory up until a ~week ago that you would be young enough that jealousy wouldn't be much of a factor. Well, I think you know something is going on....and have developed quite the attachment to me recently. The hugs and kisses are very sweet and I love all your attention; but I am now a little nervous for the arrival of your baby brother & how you will react. We shall see.

Anyway - Daphne sent you this awesome music player for you birthday - you love moving it around with you & groovin' out.

Last Thursday; Granfeather picked you up from Imagina & everyone was so excited that you had just started walking. Over the last few weeks there have been lots of two-sie, four-sie steps - but you just didn't seem too interested beyond that. All of a sudden you've set your mind to it! All day Friday you just wanted to practice walking - this video was from Friday morning & you were thrilled with yourself. You are still a bit wobbling - you prefer a short of side shuffle step - but I would say you are now walking most of the time & have decided no need to crawl!
